The Energy and Mining Indonesia Series will return 21-24 September at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran.  This series forms one of Asia’s largest trade exhibitions and focuses on four specialized exhibitions, Mining Indonesia, Building and Infrastructure Indonesia, Electric Indonesia and Oil and Gas Indonesia occupying all nine halls at the exhibition centre and all available outdoor space.

The response we have seen to this year’s event has been incredible said Ian Roberts Managing Director of PT Pamerindo Indonesia the organisers of the exhibition. “All available space had been allocated in May and we have had to put companies on a waiting list since this time”.

Indonesia’s Mining Sector is currently booming, the Government is expecting Mining Investment which is increasing year on year to reach US$6 Billion by 2012 supported by greater certainty after the introduction of new mining regulations. Indonesian state utility, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has estimated that Indonesia needs US$9.75bn in Investments to reach its targeted growth in electricity production. Indonesia is badly in need of all forms of Investment in the Infrastructure sector as the countries increasing and affluent population put ever more pressure on the existing facilities.

Set to take advantage of the huge opportunities in Indonesia, National Pavilions from Australia, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and the UK will participate alongside the world’s leading players in the Energy and Mining Industry.  This includes ABB, Atlas Copco Fluidcon, Caterpillar,  Daya Kobelco, Endress + Hauser, GE, Hitachi, Honeywell, Hyundai Heavy Industries, JCB, Liebherr, Mercedes Benz, MTU, Sany, Schneider, Siemens, United Tractors.
