Manufacturing Indonesia and Machine Tool Indonesia closes with record attendance and opportunities | News

The largest and most international manufacturing, machine tool and precision engineering event in Indonesia attracted 34,251 attendees over 4 days.

Indonesia’s growing demand for innovations in manufacturing, machine tools and precision engineering was clearly seen at Manufacturing Indonesia and Machine Tool Indonesia. A diversity of manufacturers and distributors attended the event to gain up‐to date information about viable technologies and solutions that are practical on improving efficience increasing productivity and reducing operational costs.

Organised by PT Pamerindo Indonesia (PTP), a member of Allworld Exhibitions, the event was a record breaker on several fronts. It occupied 34,147.80 square metres, hosted 2,401 exhibiting companies from 39 countries and attracted about 25,551 trade relevant visitors proving that the show is the sourcing platform of choice for Indonesia and the region.

“We are very pleased with the turn‐out of exhibitors, buyers and visitors. This truly reflects the primary status of the show. From feedback given by exhibitors, they have seen the value of their presence and were very satisfied with the quality of visitors at Manufacturing and Machine Tool Indonesia” said Ms Maysia Stephanie, Senior Project Manager of PT Pamerindo Indonesia.

“The four‐day event concluded with strong indication of sales transactions. Many of the exhibitors have found valuable contacts and interested buyers that benefit their business future. Moreover, this suggests that demand in the manufacturing, machine tool and precision engineering sectors are indeed growing in relations to aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, electrical and electronics, marine & shipbuilding, medical, oil & gas, bulk process engineering, plastics & rubber, building and construction, pipe & wire, tools, dies & moulds as well as contract and sub‐contracting manufacturing sectors in Indonesia. With the huge market potential, strong networking between suppliers and buyers will help both sides deliver the best results and long‐term growth.”
